This role combines administrative support to the Finance department and some general office support.Main Responsibilities:
The Finance Assistant will report to the Finance Director.
- For Finance department:
- Accounting: responsible for running the all-round accounting, such as accounts payable, follow- up approval of invoices, matching to purchase orders and bi-weekly payment runs in multiple currencies to ensure that our suppliers are paid to terms, processing bank statements, general ledger transactions, assistance with month end and year end closings; assistance in the preparation of VAT and Tax returns;
- Purchasing: purchase order entry and follow up, incoming goods receipt & handling & booking (excluding testing of critical goods), invoice checking, booking of materials used, inventory management; vendor evaluation (SLA reporting); manage, plan and organize and execute picking & packing; organizing office maintenance and repair work; contract management of service providers.
- For Office department:
- Back up for the executive assistant;
- Several ad hoc activities.
