2 Radio Site Project Leaders
Functieomschrijving
As a Radio site Project Leader you will have full responsibility regarding the engineering, development and implementation of technical environments solutions (Power, Cooling, safety, ) related to strategic Datacenters, POP sites (MSC, BSC, Transmission Pop’s/LEX and IT rooms) or Radio sites, in line with the Mobistar network evolution strategy & budgets.
The Radio Site Project Leader:
- Defines and leads projects to improve the stability, reliability and security of the Telco’s site environment. Full responsibility until project implementation including handover from acceptance to the operational teams and reporting.
- Defines & adapt Mobistar radio sites technical environment standards & redundancy rules and exploitation & maintenance procedures.
- Organizes all design and engineering works in the context of the development and exploitation of Telco sites and as such delegate activities to selected partners following global contracts in line with Mobistar’s objectives and budget conditions.
- Ensures a unique interface between Mobistar and his partners for preventive and curative maintenances handover of the technical site environment.
- Monitor closely project evolution and provide progress and financial reports to management.
- Guarantees the quality of work performed by partners by enforcing and establishing working procedures. Realize quality controls / audits
- Ensures the follow up of partners regarding their contractual technical requirements, pending issues and technical problems.
- Creates and organizes the micro-design of Telco’s sites based on requests of changes/updates/extensions from the technical teams;
- Support the purchasing department in technical negotiations.
- Provides solutions for efficient energy consumption.
- responsible for a georgraphical area composed of 700 to 1000 radio/transmission sites
- provides support to acquisition / build partner in the most complex acquisitions or building activities to achieve Mobistar quality & deployment volume targets
- 70% of activity performed on the field
Profiel
- You have at least a bachelor degree.
- You have strong planning & organization skills / task management.
- You are structured and communicative as well as customer-oriented.
- You are fluent in Dutch or French and English.
- You have at least 4 years field project management experience.
- You are quality & result minded.
- You have a good aptitude to search for the best solution within a technical and financial frame (problem solving).
