System Engineer

You will be working in the System Engineering team.
This team of 3 system engineers is responsible for:
• Core Windows infrastructure components (staging, OS, …) for servers and workstations
• Design of next generation Windows platforms
• Optimization and 3rd level support of the current Windows environment
• Consultancy on projects
• Life cycle management of Windows infrastructure
Objectives of the job
• Study of our actual solution (limits and problems)
• Providing solutions to optimize our system and also providing alternative
• Implementation of the solution chose after the study
• Provide consultancy on projects
• Provide clear documentation to the operational teams
• Give advice on possible improvements of the system infrastructure
• 3de line support on the infrastructure
Profil
• Min 5 years experience and 2 years as system engineer
• Experience in remote environment
• Fluent in Dutch or French, good knowledge of the other country language, sound knowledge of English.
• Expert knowledge of remote connection system (Terminal Server Windows 2008r2)
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Windows server operating systems (Windows 2003/2008)
• Experience with networking connection LAN/WAN environment (Fiber, VPN, tunneling) and integration of remote connection solution
• Mainly focusing on customer support
• Experience with printing solution in Remote system
• Good documenting skills
