Primary purpose:You are responsible for the optimization and coordination of part of the ocean vessel supply to customers and terminals across Europe through effective management of customers' requirements within the physical and contractual supply constraints. The role covers a wide range of responsibilities through the supply chain, going from effective communication with all stakeholders, to planning/organizing ocean vessel deliveries, including the administration that comes along with it.
Key responsibilities:- Optimize European ocean vessel planning/rotation in line with contractual commitments, customer/terminal requirements, port restrictions, vessel vetting requirements and demurrage procedures.
- Effectively manage communications related to methanol deliveries by vessel with all parties involved, such as agents, surveyors, customers, terminals and internal shipping subsidiary.
- Managing (consignment) inventory at terminals and customer volume forecasting to ensure timely replenishments.
