Toyota Boshoku EU is a TIER 1 supplier of interior parts to the automotive industry.
As a member of the Purchasing division of interior car parts, The Purchaser will participate in purchase activities.
You will regularly make short or long international business trips.

By different strategies The Purchaser requests quotations to appropriate suppliers. The Purchaser pursues and delivers cost reductions by encouraging improvements of the manufacturing and logistics process and by negotiation.
The Purchaser investigates the market to find new suppliers in order to achieve the best market price
Makes supplier selections
Follows up your suppliers throughout the project
Audits appropriate suppliers for conformity to the needs and desired standards in production (productivity, quality, safety, health and environment) in relation to the price).
Works with different commodities

Profil

Higher degree (Commercial Engineering is an advantage)
Fluent in English..
A first experience in purchasing is important. Not more than 3 years!!
Technical knowledge of production process in industrial environment can compensate lack of experience in automotive industry Experience in automotive industry is an advantage
Driving license B
Willing to travel abroad for short to mid long terms
Team player who can adapt to the Japanese business culture. Flexibility and adaptability are very strong assets for this function.
