Description de la fonction
You work to achieve the following objectives:
- Promote awareness and knowledge of the fur-farming sector in Europe
- Maintain the European fur-farming sector as a worldwide leader in best practices (e.g. animal welfare) by participating proactively in scientific research.
- Promote a proud and realistic image of the fur-farming sector in public opinion and among European representatives.
You communicate on the subject in a professional manner
You contact the press and you maintain good relations with journalists
You inform the decision makers in the EU
You organize events, visits, conferences.
Profil
You are fluent in English and Dutch of English and French
You can deal with controversial topics (Fur)
You have experience in communicating with the European institutions
Good verbal communication skills
Ability to liaise tactfully with contact persons of different levels and responsibilities
Highly organized with the ability to co-ordinate a wide range of tasks, deadlines and priorities
Good interpersonal skills and genuine team player
