Maintenance & Reliability Engineer (Mechanical)

Challenged by complex processes and technology
You have a crucial role within the maintenance department. You reflect on, identify and implement improvements to increase performance, reliability and availability of plant and equipment (asset integrity, preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance...). You investigate, diagnose and establish safe, cost-effective solutions to experienced equipment problems in order to minimize plant outage. You analyze ongoing performance of allocated assets and work with the plant management to define the priority and timing of future plant improvements. You develop strategies for maintenance of designated specialist equipment. You plan and guarantee on-time legally required inspections. You ensure all improvements are compliant with Ashland and legal requirements. You participate in preparing shutdowns and startups and you provide training and coaching to maintenance employees. You replace the Maintenance Manager and the Operational Maintenance Supervisor in case of need.
Profil
Analytical and pragmatic
You have a MS-level in Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineering. You have gathered relevant experience with and know-how on preventive and predictive maintenance systems. Knowledge of or affinity with SAP and ATEX are assets. You are a strong communicator, possessing good verbal and written skills in Dutch and English. You are an ambitious professional with above average interpersonal skills and managerial capacities. You are not afraid to interact with other departments such as operations, project engineering and EH&S. Challenging issues nor demands on flexibility and deadlines scare you off.
