KBC Manager Treasury & ALM

Group Treasury is a relatively new department set up to improve the coordination and steering of the treasury and ALM activities of all bank and insurance subsidiaries of KBC Group. Our goal is to (1) optimize KBC's funding and liquidity management, (2) optimize the bank's ALM profile via improved modeling and active management, (3) improve and steer the investment activities for KBC's insurance portfolios and (4) support KBC's overall balance sheet and capital management.
As KBC decided to invest more in its Treasury department, given its crucial strategic role, we are looking for a new junior colleague to strengthen our team.
They will become responsible for recurrent reporting tasks and answering ad-hoc questions from Group ExCo, CEOs of subsidiaries, … as this is the ideal on the job training for getting acquainted with the Treasury domain. This way, they will acquire the necessary expertise which will allow them over time to formulate recommendations regarding their domain.

Profil
- You are a team player - working in a relatively small interchangeable team of specialized people;
- You have good analytical skills and like working with figures;
- You have good written and oral communication skills in English (knowledge of one of the KBC home country languages is an advantage);
- You are able to manage and present information in a well-ordered and structured way;
- You are goal oriented;
- You have a University degree, quantitative profile with affinity for economic/financial world or an economic profile with affinity for mathematics;
- Prior experience in ICT, treasury/ALM, dealing room, asset management or market risk function is an advantage;
- You will receive a training on the job by colleagues and will have the possibility to follow international seminars in domain.
