ASCO, a privately owned and independent Belgian company, began operations as a private subcontractor in 1954. The aeronautics division started in 1979 and is currently the only group activity.

Job Description :
Asco offers a lot of possibilities for junior engineers. We have opportunities in all our departments so we can match each profile. Asco guarantees you a changeable function with possibilities to grow. Every week we have new vacancies.
At the moment these are the open vacancies:
- As Production Supervisor you act as first line management and coach towards the operators. Beside that you help implementing organizational changes prepared by other services.
- As Labour Analyst you do workplace analyses by stopwatching and executing time-and-motion study. Calculation of man/machine charge, of return, of standard cost and capacity calculation of machines is also part of the job. You introduce process improvement in cooperation with the production and quality departments.
- As a Junior Stress or Structural Design Engineer you design and calculate as a team structural aeronautical products. A constructive cooperation with manufacturing with respect to producibility of parts must be guaranteed.

Profil
Profile :
Education : - Bachelor or industrial or civil engineer Mechanics/Electro-Mechanics
Languages : Dutch and/or French; knowledge of English
Skills / Experience :
- 0-2 yrs experience
- Have an eye for people management (concerning the supervising functions)
- Strong analytic mentality
- Knowledge of SPC, Lean Manufacturing is an asset
- Strong computer skills Excel, Word, ERP-system
- Familiarity with CAD applications
- Assertive
