Job Purpose:
Performs activities to monitor and maintain inventory control and accuracy of Finished Goods Inventory & European Distribution Center. The Inventory Planner is the first point of contact for Inventory related issues/complaints and support the rollout of Inventory Control Policy & Procedures at other locations.
Key responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) the following:
- Implement Cycle counting procedures in line with PWC Policy.
- Implement procedures for the control of Inventory:
- Value Added Services Processes(LLL)
- Product Returns & Recalls
- Damaged Products & Repacks
- Unified Bar coding standards
- SAP Inventory discrepancy Mgt
- SAP Training to Key WHS users
- Prepare Inventory reports as required.
- Optimize Warehouse Layout design ( Pallet Racking , Shelving and Mezzanine mix)
- Drive Consolidation and Stock rotation efforts within the warehouse
- Report on and drive efforts to reduce -Obsolescence and slow moving Inventory
- Fire Sales/Reworks/Prove benefits
- Implement A,B,C, SKU Classification @ EDC
- Drive Pick Process utilizing ABC Classification
- Drive Putaway process utilizing ABC Classification
- Establish Metrics to measure and improve Putaway and Pick times
- Analyze and make recommendations with regard to :
* Customer Order Trends
* Inter Company Order Trends
* Inbound priorities as determined by Back Order status
* Cross Docking Opportunities
* Demonstrate Cost/Time benefits on above initiatives
