We are currently looking for an EPM Lead Position Summary:
As EPM Lead you manage a segment of the Portfolio of projects by acting as liaison between Senior Leadership and Site functional management teams in project governance and project portfolio prioritization. You make sure that all projects are being chartered, resourced, approved, executed and upon completion evaluated for delivery of benefit. This includes coordination and facilitation of PPM Governance Council.
You provide Project Portfolio Management (PPM) oversight and guidance to Site/BU Portfolio Managers by providing project portfolio tools, techniques, training, coaching and direction of site governance bodies. You ensure project priorities are aligned with current business needs and future strategy; resources are aligned with those priorities and are communicated throughout the organization.
You will be responsible for following key activities:
Lead the global portfolio process for the work streams responsible:
- Ensure portfolio intake process
- Receive and evaluate new proposals assessing against portfolio criteria
- Ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Summarize and present prioritization recommendations of proposed projects to governance group
- Lead portfolio planning for annual budgeting and work closely with finance to continuously improve Business Planning processes
- Track and review existing projects in portfolio and coordinate with portfolio managers, project managers, to provide governing group with current status and progress
- Follow up project priorities are aligned with current business needs and future strategy, resources are aligned with those priorities and priorities are communicated throughout the organization.
