The Group Raffinerie Tirlemontoise (RT) is part of the Südzucker Group , the leading producer and supplier of sugar products in Europe, with a 2010 turnover of around 6 billion EUR. In 2011 RT has celebrated its 175th anniversary thereby underlining one of its key values, developing sustainable and profitable business. With a team of 500 highly motivated and dynamic professionals, RT realized in Belgium a 2011 turnover of about 700 million EUR. To further strengthen the Finance and Accounting Department in their Head Office in Tienen, RT is looking for a (m/f):
CREDIT CONTROLLER
Description de la fonction
As Credit Controller you will be responsible for the credit management of multiple legal entities within the RT and Südzucker Group, mainly in Belgium. You will report to the Treasury Manager. Your main activities will be as follows:
1. Monitor and implement all credit management activities according to the Group Credit Management Guidelines.
2. Maintain frequent contact with customers and sales managers of the respective legal entities.
3. Keep close and very regular contact with credit insurers and collection agencies.
4. Prepare and analyse credit risk and customer related reporting
5. Perform the accounting transactions of bank statements and receivables
6. Provide support in closing activities and financial audit
Profil
This is a diverse and interesting role. We will only consider candidates with minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience and with strong NETWORKING and SOCIAL SKILLS. Candidates should furthermore possess the following additional qualifications and experiences:
1. Bachelor's Degree (e.g. accounting or marketing/sales/communication combined with accounting)
2. Excellent trilingual skills (Dutch, French, English) are important.
3. Thorough knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel) is important; good knowledge of SAP is a strong advantage.
4. Accurate and precise writing skills combined with well developed verbal communication skills
5. You are a team player, service minded and flexible
