Consumer Insights Specialist

The Consumer Insights Analyst is primarily responsible in providing the Business Departments and the Top Management with information on the consumers, the customers and the market.
He is in charge of analyzing both internal and external data in order to identify, investigate and report important trends both on consumers and market. Based on these insights the analyst will trigger ad hoc researches on customer, consumer and market data. The results of the analysis and researches will be translated into actionable customer centric recommendations for senior to top management of the company.
•Conduct recurrent and ad-hoc analysis on continuous data sources (e.g. market share, shopper kpi’s, customer satisfaction) and report them on a regular basis;
•Compile, verify and analyze continuous market/consumer data from internal sources such as the customer satisfaction and external sources such as Nielsen & GFK;
•Coordinate the analysis with the other analysts of the Customer Insights team in order to identify the major trends on the market. These analysis are based on both external data sources (e.g. GFK, Nielsen) and internal data sources (SQL type databases);
•Report to top management on a recurrent basis the major findings of the different analysis and researches (e.g. monthly and quarterly reviews) in order to improve strategic and operational decisions in a customer centric way.
Ad-hoc Analysis and Researches
•Pro-actively trigger ad-hoc analysis and (market) researches in order to better understand the trends of the market and to be able to come up with advanced customer centric actionable recommendations to the senior and top management of the company;
•Lead market and consumer research projects (both qualitative as quantitative researches) based on other departments requests, internally or with the help of specialized agencies.
•Support the internal stakeholders when it comes to integrating consumer and customer insights in their strategic decisions in order to establish insights as a competitive advantage, utilized across the business and in our conversations with customers.
•Coordinates projects related to consumer and customer insights (ex: integration of affiliates data in our market share; link customer satisfaction to customer behavior)
•Manage external resources to whom reporting and analysis on continuous data is outsourced, e.g. Nielsen, Gfk.
•You have a Master's degree with min 2 years of experience in market research (Preferred experience with Nielsen and Gfk as data source)
•You are proficient in French, Dutch and English
•You have a good knowledge of Microsoft Office and knowledge of SPSS (knowledge of SAS is a plus)
•You have an affinity with mathematics & (simple) statistics, an aptitude for analysis and conceptual problem solving
