CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR
Description de la fonction
The main objective of the Construction Supervisor is to be the key interface between the project team and the Construction Management team. The construction activities for the project are phased with significant interference with other construction activities on site. Available space on site will therefore be limited.
Involvement of the Construction Supervisor in the project during early Detailed Design is required to ensure that requirements for flawless execution of construction are incorporated in the design of the facilities.
Key Accountabilities
• Interfaces between client project team and Construction Management team
• Follow up on Construction Management Team performance with respect to safety, quality, schedule and cost
• Direct coordination of the construction activities in existing Genzyme buildings or on systems in operation
• Establish excellent relationships with CM, contractors and suppliers and ensures good relationships are maintained
• Support the CM team in establishing project specific safety program in line with the other projects on site
• Review all daily construction operations to ensure project documents compliance, design and constructability
• Ensures that prerequisites for successful LEED certification are met
• Support in Constructability Reviews
• Early involvement from detailed design to review construction documentation with respect to constructability, accessibility to all equipment for operations and maintenance
Profil
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent with a min. of 5 years of relevant experience
• Knowledge of Dutch and English language, both written and spoken
• The Construction Supervisor must have documented experience as a construction supervisor in at least 2 recent building projects, in a relevant industry/environment
• Competent technical knowledge on all construction disciplines
• Preferably experience with LEED certification
• Preferably experience with construction of laboratory or clean room environments
• Basic knowledge of cGLP/cGMP/cGCP requirements
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills – effective facilitator – ability to interact with contractors, different internal departments and client to get the required data and information needed to develop appropriate commissioning and qualification documentation
• Good attention to detail and accuracy - good analytical skills
• Able to execute project to plan and establish priorities to meet deadlines whilst preserving a high level of accuracy and quality
• Excellent team player – approachable - also assists others where necessary for the success of the team
