The Area Sales Manager is responsible for delivering revenue via Industrial Distributors and Vertical End Users in order to exceed our Operating Plan (quota). The role is accountable to manage customer relationships within a designated territory, developing and expanding our customer base with advanced Vending and RFID solutions. - Driving sales & margin results through Industrial Distributors and Verticals (end-users) in order to exceed our Operating Plan
- Provide accurate Sales Forecasting (Orders / Shipments) & Business Plan reports to Leadership
- Distribution expansion for Vending and RFID Solutions through identifying and successfully on-boarding appropriate new customer partners
- Coordinates with the Inside Sales Representatives, Customer Service, Operations & Technical Services Teams to ensure customer orders are built and delivered accurately.
- Maintaining, leveraging and providing consistent visibility of sales opportunities to Leadership, including reporting and dashboards in SalesForce.com.
- Working effectively as a team to secure orders and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction, including:

- Building strong and strategic customer relationships
- Developing marketing programs
- Customer commercial training
- Assist in launching new products, providing feedback to Marketing, Product Acceptance and the leadership team on opportunities and threats
- Participates in trade shows, sales events and hosts web demonstrations for our customers
- T&E, cost control and monitoring of personal expenditure
